Professional storyteller James Rowland is wonderful. This show is framed as the last hour of his life, and with that hour Rowland takes us through very small and personal moments as well as through the beloved legend of Robin Hood. After a confusing first fifteen minutes, the amusing and poignant beats are aplenty. .By the crescendo (James’ death) everything he’s said has resonated and is bouncing around your mind like in an emotionally fragile pinball machine. Having only seen this one show of his, I can unswervingly recommend James Rowland and his storytelling to anyone with a heart.
