Yalm in the Royal Arcade is a food hall home to a diverse number of cuisines (which even the pickiest of eaters will enjoy) and will strike up interesting conversations on what you’ve chosen.

For a scenic lunch date along the river, Italian deli Amaretto offers student discounts on their meal options including a pizza slices, sandwiches and a hot dish of the day, so don’t forget to bring your student ID!

If brunch or dessert is more your thing, Christophes Crepes in Pottergate has a vast selection of sweet and savoury crepes which you can eat in or takeaway.

Also in Pottergate, Bun X in the Micawbers Tavern is known for their burgers and fries with their intimate atmosphere perfect for first dates.

On Unthank Road, Blue Joanna is an Asian street food restaurant with a gluten and dairy free menu with vegan options available with dishes perfect for sharing.

Of course, spending time with people you love eating delicious food is the best way show your love!
