The Quadram Institute are calling on all UEA students to assist in research that could change the future.

The Quadram Institute are in search of students to take part in human studies.
Students who take part might get to grow plants for science using new technology like hydroponics or eat biscuits for breakfast.
Taking part in research can suit any students’ needs and Quadram hope to encourage students from all backgrounds to take part.
The Quadram Institute said: “Students can gain firsthand insight into world-leading health research.
“If you’re interested in science, health, food and nutrition, taking part in a research study will help you understand your field more deeply.
“By showing interest, you’ll strengthen your profile when taking the next steps in your career.”
Many of Quadram Institute’s human studies involve eating new foods that may help solve challenges like micronutrient deficiencies and answer key questions about nutrition and health.
Young people are underrepresented in clinical research.
In the UK, that means there is not a full picture of how young individuals might respond to different health interventions.
The solution, Quadram believes is to take part in one of their human studies to ensure researchers have the evidence to make the best decisions.
“Taking part in research provides you with health data you might not routinely access.
“From glucose tolerance tests to routine checkups, you’ll learn more about your health.”
Sign up to the Quadram Institute’s participant database to keep up to date with their exciting human studies.
They provide compensation for your travel and time as a token of appreciation, ensuring your decision to contribute remains entirely voluntary and free from any pressure.
