Norfolk County Councillor Niall Adams won by 650 votes following a 50 per cent voter turn out on the campus.

Students cast votes on campus
Thursday 7 May 11:38PM
Students at the University of East Anglia have voted at an on-campus polling station for the local elections.
The point, set up in The Hive, saw dozens of students cast ballots between 7AM and 10PM in a bid to elect a University Ward councillor.
The elections, which took place across the country, will dictate which political parties run local services such as schools and bin collection.
UEA, which sits within the University Ward division, has been held by Labour since 2004.
The five candidates running for election in the ward are:
Matthew Ainsley for the Labour Party
Jenny Ashburn for Reform UK
Tammy Searle for the Green Party
Patricia Marie Menaul for the Conservative Party
James Andrew Hawketts for the Liberal Democrats
Results for the Norwich City Council elections are expected to be announced at 2:30PM on 8 May, with Norfolk County Council following at 5:30PM.
