For the Earth lovers – Geography, Geology, Environmental Science, Geophysics, Biology, you’ll love the hilarious five seasons of ‘Clarkson’s Farm’. Following Jeremy Clarkson as he learns the skills needed to make his land thrive, the show explores what it means to care for and respect our beautiful planet. Plus, it’s also a great series for the future Lord Sugars of the world – Business, Economics – as Clarkson’s Diddly Squat Farm Shop is a roaring success. 

For History students, is there really any other option than the British classic, ‘Horrible Histories‘? This kids TV show will cover all the basics from Stone Age to modern day, getting you prepared for all modules ahead.  

Languages student? Watch anything you like. Just make sure you dub it in your target language!  

For those with a desire to conquer the world, whether in International Relations, Politics, or Global Development, I recommend ‘Game of Thrones’. Kingdoms battling it out, complicated family relationships, and lots of war.  

For the numbers people – Maths, Physics, Engineering – I must recommend ‘The Big Bang Theory’. Enjoy trying to figure out all the equations in the background, and if you’re an Engineering student, prepare to be the punchline of quite a few jokes! 

Drama students, I’m going to suggest ‘Glee’. I don’t really think any further explanation is needed… 

Future Olympians and their physios – PESH, Physical Therapy – you can learn from the title character in ‘Ted Lasso‘ as he navigates the stormy waters of real football and English humour.
