In October, it was “Boo Baskets”; in December, it was “Brr Baskets”; now, in February, it is time for the “Bae Basket”. These gift ideas have grown extremely popular on TikTok and Instagram over the last twelve months. They consist of lots of themed goodies and seasonal presents, all perfectly placed into a cute basket.

As Valentine’s Day is swiftly approaching, Bae Baskets are a perfect gift idea for girlfriends, boyfriends, partners, and even best friends – we can’t forget about our Galentines! You can even treat yourself to a Bae Basket because self-love and rewarding yourself for your own achievements is just as important as showing your appreciation for others.

What is perfect about a Bae Basket is that it is completely tailored to who it is for and can be accomplished on whatever budget you may have! It is affordable as well as adorably thoughtful. Some ideas on what to include in this year’s Bae Basket are: slippers, pyjamas, themed chocolates, mugs, perfumes/colognes, lip balms, books, blankets, gift cards for their favourite places, jewellery or even a Jellycat from their new Valentine’s collection! The gifts may be edible, practical, or even just matching in the colours pink and red.

There are numerous places to shop for these gifts that are only a twenty-minute bus ride from the UEA. In Norwich city centre, the new Lazy Lobster shop in The Royal Arcade is the perfect place to purchase some unique gifts or cards to include in your basket for that special person in your life. TK Maxx in the Castle Quarter Shopping Centre has such a wide range to choose from, so there is something for everyone. Bakeaholics in Chantry Place is a wonderfully brilliant little stand to get some of the most delicious sweet treats you’ll ever taste, and Boux Avenue stocks the sexiest lingerie as well as the cutest loungewear pyjamas.

So, go right now and create the dreamiest Bae basket, show your appreciation, earn some brownie points, and have a love-filled Valentine’s Day regardless of who you are celebrating it with!
