With the awesome Norwich Science Festival returning to the city from the 15th to the 22nd of February, I’m super excited to share some awesome events, hand picked for our audience direct from the NSF team!

Free for UEA students, there’s:

  • Science of Self: Influence | Norwich Science Festival (Tues,  18th, 1pm-1.45pm, NUA)
    • Danny Kett and Becks Cant bring their expertise in behavioural science and hostage negotiation to reveal the small changes that can be made when communicating to drive positive outcomes.

Other recommended events include:

  • How to Argue with a Racist (Thu 20 Feb, 7.30pm at Norwich Theatre Playhouse).
  • Bestselling author Adam Rutherford combines science and sociology in a thought-provoking look at modern genetics for an unmissable event for anyone committed to creating a more inclusive society.
  • Body/Space/Play (Sunday 16 Feb, 2pm at The Garage).
  • Featuring live dancers, this immersive class invites you to step beyond the canvas as you explore the human body and form through movement.
  • Future Medicine Showdown (Fri 21 Feb, 7.30pm at The Forum).
  • Ever wondered what the future of medicine could look like? Join comedian Pravanya Pillay as a panel of scientists pitch their wildest visions – gut microbiomes, sleep research, and more – and decide who will be crowed the winner.
