Three Thousand Years of Longing (2022, George Miller) 

A romantic fantasy drama about a professor (Tilda Swinton) and the djinn (Idris Elba) she unleashes from a bottle. Miller deals with desire, fantasy and loneliness with honesty and love. There are some really special beats in this movie: beautifully erotic, funny, and real! 

Nosferatu (2024, Robert Eggers) 

Gothic horny nonsense, artful cinematography, and a moustached vampire. 

The Holiday (2006, Nancy Meyers) 

What could be more romantic than the impish, charming Jack Black playing you a personalised piano tune in the lead-up to Christmas? In my opinion, the chemistry between Kate Winslet and Jack Black was much better than that between Cameron Diaz and Jude Law; their slow-burn romance is so delightful. The Holiday is a perfect winter romance flick to return to every year.  

Chef (2014, Jon Favreau) 

This film proves that there is nothing sexier than a man who can cook. Carl Casper (Jon Favreau) tours America in his new food truck while patching up his relationship with his son and his ex-wife (Sofia Vergara). You will leave hungry, horny or both!
